Shropshire Council is inviting colleges to use for a grant to assist encourage kids to cycle, stroll or scoot to and from college.

The council has been awarded £30,000 of funding from Lively Journey England and colleges can apply for a grant of as much as £1000 to spend on lively journey initiatives.

Recommendations for the way the grant can be utilized embrace shopping for scooter or cycle racks; shopping for hi- viz jackets; a motorbike or scooter mortgage scheme; or something that may assist their college to extend lively journey.
