Minister of Schooling, Prof. Tahir Mamman, has appealed to armed bandits that kidnapped almost 300 college youngsters from Native Schooling Authority (LEA) Main and Junior Secondary College, Kuriga, Chikun Native Authorities Space, Kaduna State, to launch the kids unhurt.

The bandits reportedly invaded the college on Thursday morning, and made away with the pupils and a few of their academics to unknown vacation spot.

The Minister instructed journalists at a press convention, in Abuja, on Friday, that such periodic assaults on the general public colleges have been contributing to the low enrollment in colleges, therefore growing the quantity out-of-school college.

He stated the Ministry was working with the Kaduna State authorities and the safety operatives to make sure speedy rescue and return of the kidnapped college youngsters.
